Angels Place Pride on DL
8/20/06 – Former Expos outfielder Curtis Pride
was placed on the disabled list retroactive to
August 16. Pride has been struggling with lower
back tightness.
Prior to going on the disabled list, Pride was
hitting .333 with a homer since being recalled.
Pride began his career with the Expos in 1993,
appearing in 10 games while batting an
impressive .444.
