Bradley Back On D.L.
6/21/06 – Milton Bradley, who spent parts
of two seasons with the Expos has been
placed on the 15-day disabled list by the
Oakland Athletics due to shoulder trouble.
The move is retroactive to June 15.

This is the second trip to the DL this
season for the outfielder.  Bradley
sprained his right knee and strained an
oblique muscle earlier this season,
causing him to miss 35 games.  He is
hitting just .213 with three home runs and
eight RBI in 28 games this year for
Oakland.

Bradley was originally drafted by Montreal in the second round on the
1996 amateur draft and made his major league debut with the Expos in
2000.  He was eventually dealt to Cleveland at the trade deadline in 2001
for pitcher Zach Day.  Bradley played the last two seasons for the Los
Angeles Dodgers before another deal sent him to the Athletics this past
off-season.

Now in his eighth major league season, Bradley has a .266 career
average to go along with 57 home runs and 241 RBI.
