About Us
Who we Are
Why we Started this Site
This site was created by Jeremy Schuchert and Jack Moulds and is
supported by the many fans of the Montreal Expos.
The genesis for the site came from two events.

The first occurred on October 3, 2004 after the Expos lost their final game
to the Mets, 8-1 at Shea Stadium in New York.  Jack, Jeremy and his wife
Lynda attended that game and couldn't help but notice the incredible
passion shown for the team by the legion of Expos fans in attendance that
day.  What was also evident after the final out was the overwhelming sense
of loss shared by those same fans.  Following the game, they stayed
outside of Shea in upwards of two hours: listening to stories, singing
songs and sharing memories of Olympic Stadium, The Kid and Le Grand
Orange.

The second event took place on August 13, 2005 when they visited the
Philadelphia Athletics Historical Society in Hatboro, PA.  Both lifelong
baseball fans, Jeremy and Jack are members of
The Society for American
Baseball Research and this visit served as their inspiration to begin the
Expos Historical Society.
